WE DON'T BELIEVE THERE IS ANY ONE "RIGHT" WAY TO GET MARRIED.

Whether you're looking for a fully customized wedding ceremony to be performed in front of your family and friends, a sunset elopement ceremony in a park, a quick paper signing over breakfast mimosas... or anything in between! We are here to help for whatever kind of ceremony feels right to you.

'DO IT YOURSELF' WEDDING CEREMONY

This may be the right option for you if:

You saw that 'Friends' episode where Joey marries Monica and Chandler and want to do the same!
You want to have your friend or family member conduct your ceremony, but you've realized they can't legally do this in Ontario... so you're looking for options!

This package includes:

The legal stuff: A paper signing ceremony the week prior to your wedding to get you legally married. Paper signings are available Monday - Thursday at one of 3 outdoor spaces in Ottawa - West, Central or East
A template for your friend or family member to help write and conduct a non-legal ceremony on the day of your wedding, and to make sure they don't forget any of the important parts of your ceremony!
A 1 hour meeting between us and your loved one to answer any questions they may have

Cost: $500 + HST

Note: Looking to have an officiant attend on the day of your wedding ceremony to assist with the legal portions? We do this too! Prices will vary based on the date / time and location of your ceremony.

BASIC PAPER SIGNING CEREMONIES

This may be the right option for you if:

You are looking for a simple signing ceremony only: just the two of you + two witnesses
You are having a destination wedding or celebration at a later date, and want to do the legal portion ahead of time
You were planning to get married at City Hall but would prefer a more beautiful setting

Paper signings are offered in one of 3 outdoor spaces in Ottawa (West, Central and East), Mondays - Thursdays (excluding holidays).

Cost: $350 + HST

If you don't have witnesses, we may be able to provide them (pending availability) at a cost of $50 per witness.

ELOPEMENTS

This may be the right option for you if:

You don't want a big celebration, but you want to include vows, rings, or other ceremonial elements
You have a smaller guest list: just the two of you and up to 10 guests
You plan to include one or two vendors, like a photographer and florist

Elopement ceremonies can be short and sweet, or fully customized! They generally take place Sunday - Friday and can take place at any location of your choice.

Price varies based on the date / time and amount of customization.

Average cost: $450 - $850 (Plus HST and travel costs)

WEDDINGS

This may be the right option for you if:

You are planning a full celebration with your family and friends
You are excited to have some of your favourite people stand up with you in your wedding party
You want to include your loved ones in your ceremony or share your love story with them

Wedding ceremonies can be short and sweet, or fully customized! They typically take place Thurs - Sun (but not always!) and can take place at any location of your choice.

Price varies based on the date / time, and amount of customization

Average cost: $700 - $1,000 (Plus HST and travel costs)
