Our paper signing ceremonies are perfect for couples who want to make it official in a relaxed, no-fuss setting. Held at our west-end Ottawa home office, these group ceremonies are a wonderful alternative to a cold, impersonal City Hall experience.

• You want to get legally married and are looking for the simplest option

• You are not set on a particular date or time

• You were thinking of getting married at City Hall but would prefer a more relaxed, intimate setting

Cost: $375 + HST

Note: If you don't have witnesses, we may be able to provide them (pending availability) at a cost of $50 per witness.

      

Our 'Just the Essentials' ceremony is ideal for couples who want a little more than a paper signing but aren't looking for a fully customized experience. Your officiant will conduct a short, meaningful ceremony at a location of your choice — whether that's a park, your home, or your favourite Ottawa coffee shop. Simple, intimate, and completely legal.

 

This may be the right option for you if:​

• You want the basics of a ceremony without any additional storytelling or customization

• You plan to get married with no (or very few guests) in attendance

• You are having a destination wedding / celebration at a later date but want to do the legal portion ahead of time

Basic ceremonies are typically offered Mondays - Thursdays (excluding holidays). Not sure where to host your ceremony? We're happy to make recommendations!

Our most popular package, and our personal favourite to deliver. A Bespoke ceremony is a fully personalized Ottawa wedding ceremony built around your unique love story. The result is a ceremony that feels less like a formality and more like a reflection of exactly who you are.

• You are planning a full celebration with your family and friends​

• Whether you prefer something short and sweet or in depth and detailed, you want a ceremony that feels completely, authentically you

• You want to include your loved ones in your ceremony or have your love story witnessed by the people who matter most

Bespoke ceremonies typically take place Thurs - Sun (but not always!) and can take place at any location of your choice.​

Cost: $750 - $1,150 + travel and HST

Ever since that Friends episode, couples have been asking if their best friend can marry them. In Ontario, the answer is technically no — but we've found a way to make it work. Our DIY package lets your favourite person lead your ceremony while we handle all the legal requirements behind the scenes.

 

This may be the right option for you if:

• You want to have a friend or family member conduct your ceremony but have realized they can't legally do this in Ontario

• You still want the legal bases covered — just without a "traditional" officiant running the show

This package includes:

• The legal stuff: a basic ceremony to get you legally married, available Monday - Thursday

• A ceremony template to help your loved one write and conduct a beautiful, meaningful ceremony on your wedding day

• A 1 hour meeting between us and your loved one to walk through everything and answer any questions

 

Cost: $575 + travel and HST
